FedReady LLC, and an
affiliate company Advanced Training & Learning Corporation (ATLC),
specialize in the development of online training courses to meet
the regulatory requirements of the Department of Transportation.
These courses are interesting, interactive, compliant, and incorporate
a proprietary learner assessment technology to help assure an effective
learning outcome.
We offer two courses
for the Department of Transportation (DOT) / Federal Motor Carrier
Safety Administration (FMCSA) Alcohol Misuse and Controlled Substances
Use Program: Supervisor Training and Driver
Training.
The supervisor course
is designed to be completed in 2.0 hours and the driver course in
1.0 hour. You can always leave the course and come back later and
the system will automatically resume where you left off. Just follow
the instructions in the Resume a Course
section.
Upon completion
of a course and passing a quiz, a printable course completion certificate
will appear on your screen. Records of persons who have completed
our courses are kept in our database and can be retrieved upon direct
request to our offices.
Each of these
courses has been awarded Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for
Continuing Education. The one hour driver’s course awards
1.0 PDH and the supervisor’s course awards 2.0 PDHs. If interested
in obtaining PDHs, please send an e-mail to info@fedready.com

Quiz Feature Helps Assure An Effective
Learning Experience
To help assure commercial transportation safety, it is important
that all drivers performing safety-sensitive duties and their supervisors
covered by these DOT/FMCSA Regulations understand the issues related
to controlled substances use and alcohol misuse. Companies should
expect that the work time and cost committed to training has demonstrated
value.
For these reasons,
each course requires the individual to pass a quiz in order to receive
credit for course completion. Ten questions are randomly selected
from a larger library of questions, so the quiz is different each
time it is taken. A passing score of 70% has been established to
pass the quiz. These courses provide a comprehensive and documented
assessment process for each individual.
The ATLC system
has a proprietary relearn technology that not only provides the
correct answers to any questions answered incorrectly, but also
takes the person back into the course to review the material that
apparently wasn’t grasped initially. If the quiz is not passed,
the system determines if the individual will be given a second quiz
(different questions) or will be required to retake the course and
then pass a quiz.
There is no
additional charge if the quiz or entire course needs to be taken
again within 30 days if the quiz is not passed. Our goal is to assure
a good understanding of the course material and have objective evidence
that the individual grasped the material.
